Rocker Switch Bodies
Question:
Are these switches marine grade?
Answer:
Yes! All of our rocker switches are genuine Carling switches, marine grade, and IP66/68 rated.
Question:
What is their current rating?
Answer:
All our rockers are rated at 20A for 12VDC. If you need 24VDC switches, please contact us.
Question:
ON-OFF, (ON)-OFF, what is the difference?
Answer:
The parentheses “()” around a function indicates that function is momentary (non-latching). No parentheses indicates the function is latching. For example, an ON-OFF switch works great for a light. You want the switch to stay “ON” (e.g. to latch) when you turn it on. A (ON)-OFF switch works great for a horn. You want the switch to return to the OFF position when you let go of the switch. The “(ON)” position is momentary and only completes the circuit while you are pressing it.
Question:
How do I wire up this switch!
Answer:
Clicking on any switch body will show you a wiring diagram for that specific switch. If you are still having trouble, feel free to contact us HERE.
Question:
Alright, that’s a lot of color options but which is the brightest (and which is the dimmest)?
