Double Pole Mom-OFF-Mom Rocker Switch – (ON)-OFF-(ON)

The VLD1-S00B is Double Pole Double Throw (SPDT) rocker switch with a (ON)-OFF-(ON) function.

(ON) represents a momentary function, so this is a MOMENTARY UP – OFF – MOMENTARY DOWN rocker switch.  It has no light, which is fairly common for a momentary switch where no indicator would be necessary.  It’s “spring loaded” so that it springs back to the center off position when you let go of it.

This rocker switch might be used in a boat’s trim tab system, or as a controller for any linear actuator like an engine hatch lift.

Since this is a full isolated double hole switch it is capable of reversing polarity on an electric motor.  This allows you to spin an electric motor in both directions without a controller.

Note we also have this switch as a single pole momentary – OFF – momentary switch.

This is a rocker switch body only.  This V-series switch is meant to be paired with our custom etched rocker actuators (covers) or other actuators for a complete switch unit.  All actuators sold on this site will fit this switch.  When using our custom etched actuators you would NOT want to add a “Bottom Lens” for this switch (What’s this?).
