Momentary LED switch – (ON)-OFF

The V2D1-AC0B is a fairly simple momentary LED switch.  It is Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) and it’s function is (ON)-OFF, where (ON) represents a momentary function.  It has one independent RED LED at the top (What’s this?).  This switch would be used when you want backlit switches, for momentary loads like a horn and you want the backlight to be red.  The top lamp acts as a backlight (triggered by another source).

The switch is identical to our V2D1-A60B except it uses red LED lighting.

When this red LED rocker switch is used in conjunction with our custom etched rocker switch actuators, the symbol and label will look white when not backlit (b/c the actuator core is white), but will provide a nice red glow when backlit.  Red helps to NOT impair your night vision.  It’s also a good choice when the switch will be backlit most of the time b/c it produces less heat and operates longer.

This is a rocker switch body only.  This V-series switch is meant to be paired with our custom etched rocker actuators (covers) or other actuators for a complete switch unit.  All actuators sold on this site will fit this switch.  When using our custom etched actuators you would NOT want to add a “Bottom Lens” for this switch (What’s this?).

Like all our rocker switches this is a genuine Carling Technologies product.  It is IP68 sealed dustproof and waterproof.
